SAVING LIVES, PREVENTING INJURIES AND PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Supporting International Button Battery Awareness Day

Supporting International Button Battery Awareness Day | 12 June 2025

In Australia thousands of children have suffered serious or lifelong injuries after swallowing or inserting a USED Button Battery.

Some Children have sadly died.

We invite you to help raise awareness for  International Button Battery Awareness Day which will be held on Thursday 12th of June 2025.

The aim of this initiative is to spread further awareness about the dangers of button batteries among schools, parents, caregivers and childhood educators through the delivery of an educational program designed for early childhood and primary school aged children.

Through the promotion of International Button Battery Awareness Day, it is our hope that together we can ensure all schools, early childhood centres, homes and workplaces are button battery safe.
